Meet the Team
What started as a love story has turned into something much deeper….
Favourite Veggie: Garlic (watch out, vampires)
Go to spot on the farm: In the polytunnel when the tomatoes are up
Happiest when: Cuddling puppies and eating sausages
Hobbies: Writing, crate digging, cooking, arts & crafts, DJing, swimming, and getting in the sauna
Special skills: In Milo’s world… when something is interesting, it is REALLY INTERESTING. This is a man who can rabbit hole away for hours, losing track of time and space over subjects that seriously niche (you can follow him down the various rabbit holes on substack) and never ever get bored.

Meet Milo
After a wiggly start in London, Milo decided he wanted to make a tangible difference in the world. Being a foodie and nature advocate, food and farming felt like the obvious place to begin.
After moving to Cornwall he cut his teeth at Good Earth Growers before heading up the market garden at Coombeshead, helping built it’s field to fork reputation. It was during these years that he tested his ideas, and spent over a decade sharpening his craft.
In 2022, he set about turning an empty paddock into something that could genuinely serve both the local community and the natural world around it. Helped by friends, Earthbound was born.
He brings not just knowledge but a quality of care that treats the land as a collaborator, not a resource - someone who looks at a patch of earth and sees a different kind of future taking shape in it. For Milo, food production has never just been about what ends up on the table. It's a living expression of what a more harmonious relationship between people, nature, and community might actually look like, season by season.
He is proud to be a small part of a larger wave of change - and hopes Earthbound becomes a place where people can experience firsthand what it feels like to live a little closer to the rhythms of a balanced and nourishing ecosystem.

Meet Alys
Alys is the quiet architecture of Earthbound - the person who holds the vision steady, builds the systems beneath it, and makes sure everything grown here is built to last.
She works across all of it: strategy and growth, partnerships, relationships with local practitioners, social media, and the kind of hands-in-the-soil work that doesn't have a title. She's a maker of things, a connector of people, and the one who tends to the details others miss.
She came here by a winding road. A childhood steeped in nature, then years in London working across corporate and FMCG start-ups - learning systems, scaling businesses, building products. Eventually she followed something quieter than ambition, left it all behind, and moved to Italy to cook and teach people how to breathe.
That instinct to turn down the noise and look inward became a practice. She trained as a Transformational Breath® facilitator, later adding Oxygen Advantage coaching, NLP, and Trauma-Informed Somatic work -developing a deep understanding of the nervous system and how to tend to it in a world that rarely slows down.
One day she met Milo, and the rest is history.
She lives by a simple idea: that sometimes what we need isn't to keep doing. It's to be. To plant our hands in the soil. To move our bodies. To remember that nature isn't a backdrop to human health - it's the foundation of it.
Favourite Veggie: Bright orange carrots
Go to spot on the farm: The apple orchard with a cup of tea and a sunshine
Happiest when: Dancing bare foot under a sky and eating too many Italian paninis on a beach, not moving due to food coma
Hobbies: Cooking, writing, baking, big fat walks in the rain, exercise in any form, a wannabe herbalist and DJing very badly
Special skills: Al has a whole dictionary of phrases / words that are entirely hers and don’t make any sense but do. In essence she regularly merges sayings / phrases together by accident, and with such conviction everytime.
For example: ‘and that will all just be water under the bus’
Between us, we have trodden very different paths that led us to the same place. We are fortunate to have found in each other someone who holds the same beliefs, values, and vision for what it means to live an abundant and rich life. It turns out - thankfully - that we see the world in a similar way, and have skills that complement one another in bringing that world to life.
Milo is the easy-breezy genius and initiator. Al is the refiner and builder.
Earthbound is not only our home - it is an expression of our love, our mutual passions, and our shared purpose. A place for nourishment. A chance to slow down and reconnect to what matters.
We grow food, care for bodies, share skills, and build community - slowly, seasonally, together. Above all, we try to do it with a smile on our faces and warmth in our hearts. And with the honest knowledge that some days will be easier than others.
Thanks for finding your way here.
Big hugs, Al & Milo xo
