Friends of the Farm

The people who have brought their work, their skills, and their spirit to this place.

Earthbound has always been shaped by collaboration. From the earliest days, the farm has drawn in makers, growers, chefs, musicians and creatives - people who saw something here worth being part of. This page is a nod to all of them.

Our Friends

Two men wearing hats and casual clothing are smiling and talking to each other at an outdoor event. Other people are in the background, and there are hay bales and a stone building with large windows.

Rory Sheehan

The original Earthbounder.

Rory was there at the beginning - Milo's first business partner and a central part of what Earthbound set out to be. He brought culinary genius, skills to build, fantastic music taste and a particular kind of energy that helped define the spirit of the place.

His many gifts were integral in shaping the community the farm now serves. Earthbound wouldn’t be what it is today had it not been for him.

If you are ever looking for someone to make exceptional food, or play excpetional music -Rory is your man.

Rory is a luddite so you can’t find him unless you know where to look

Ripe Cider

Gerogie and Cameron embarked on their epic adventure into cider - bringing their expertise and magic to Earthbound in the early days.

They established the beautiful cider orchard here, perfected their products and are now settled in their new incredible home a stones throw away.

It was such a privilege to share space with not only such wonderful humans, but a dynamic duo who are shaking up the cider industry from pip to pressing.

Tywardreath Bakery

Emily and Joe's micro bakery in the village of Tywardreath makes real, slow bread - sourdough, focaccia and a whole host of delicious treats using regeneratively farmed flour and Cornish-grown ancient grain.

Emily is honestly a total wizard when it comes to making and creating breads and pastries.

We are so grateful to be able to work alongside her - this summer we will be launching our first collaborative feast… so keep your eyes peeled.

Olivia, like Ripe Cider, made Earthbound a creative base in the early days.

She is undoubtedly one of the most talented ceramisists in Cornwall, crafting stunning pieces of art using local natural materials.

She added so much joy, beauty and more during her time at Earthbound. We were forever amazed by her talents and creations.

Lizzie Rowe

Last year we were host to Lizzie and her amazing venture; Leaf & Feather.

Earthbound became her home for the summer as she established herself in Cornwall.

Lizzie is single handedly shifting the narrative of how chicken farming happens in the UK. She has created a sustainable, circular business model focused on animal welfare and minimal environmental impact. We can all learn a lot from this superwoman.

Savannah Chalk-Stevens

We were delighted to be greeted by Savannah and all her gifts last summer.

Savannah helped with our social media, online presence and bringing our events to life. She was hugely supportive with raising our brand profile, including BBC visits, growing our community and estabilishing the sauna. Her efforts are enormously appreciated.

If you are a small scale business in need of a creative, passionate and hardworking human - hit up Savs!

Stuart Thompson

Stuart set up Atlantic Brewery - as Cornwall’s only soil association certified organic producer of unfined cask, keg, can and bottled beer.
(how epic is that!)

We have always loved working with Stuart and his team - and have been forunate enough to have them supply at our events and supper clubs.

Their beers are second to none and they are genuinely an epic bunch of humans.

Rodolfo

Brazilain Farmer

Rodolfo came with Chris in the Spring and stayed through much of the summer.

Leaving his own farm just outside of Rio to help us at Earthbound, Rodolfo brought his creativity and shamanic magic to the place.

Whether he was teaching us jiujitsu in the barn, creating delcious food cooked over the fire or filling the barn with his wonderful artworks - Rodolfo gave the farm a fresh energy that was deeply appreciated.

Together with Chris and Hugo aka The Brazilian Boys - The farm was flurried with a determined energy to get it into shape and help us bring order out of chaos.

We will be forever grateful for their help.

Obrigado Rodolfo!

Hazel & Ethan

Hazel and Ethan are the creative masterminds behind North Street Kitchen; a beautiful restaurant overlooking the Fowey Estuary.

Their menus are led by local produce - creating delicious food, not comprising on quality and always championing independent suppliers in the area.

They were one of the first restaurants we supplied, and have been unwaivering in their support.
(Seriously go eat their food - it rocks)

Chris Williams

Project Manager

Last Spring Chris arrived at the Farm and gave so much love and life to the projects here.

He stayed on through the most horrible winter, braving the storms and staying on the land.

His energy and work ethic kept our boots on and our socks pulled up.

His contribution to the farm is still being felt and we are enormously grateful for everything he’s given to the place.

Without him we wouldn’t have managed to build the beautiful sauna structure on a shoestring budget.

If you’ve been lucky enough to meet him you would have encountered his endless positivity and welcoming smile.

Obrigado Chris!
